Kingston University

Kingston University is located in the southwest of Greater London and has evolved over the years from a college and polytechnic into a popular and successful institution. Kingston University Campus Life

All four campuses at Kingston University have excellent student facilities and services, access to the Kingston University Students’ Union and good social life.

The four campuses include the Kingston Hill Campus, which is just outside Kingston town centre and has a hillside setting and attractive grounds. Facilities at Kingston Hill include the Learning Resources Centre, quality halls of residence, good library and computer facilities, nice buildings and a cafe, restaurant and bar.

Penrhyn Road Campus is the main campus of Kingston University and headquarters of the Students’ Union. This lively campus offers the bulk of the facilities and services of Kingston University and also comes with a health centre and gym.

Knights Park Campus is a lot quieter than the other campuses and its charming setting on the banks of the Hogsmill River reflects this. Knights Park is home to Kingston University’s design students and has a delightful restaurant and bar.

Roehampton Vale Campus is a contemporary building for the engineering students of Kingston University and has a collection of state-of-the-art laboratories and teaching rooms. Roehampton Vale is also on the outskirts of Kingston and very near to popular Richmond Park.

Kingston-upon-Thames Borough

Kingston-upon-Thames is on the London/Surrey border in one of the most sought after settings in Greater London, being positioned near the huge parks of Hampton Court Park and Richmond Park. The town is literally loaded with hundreds of shops, numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. Additionally, Central London is only a few stops away on the Underground.

Student Loans

Kingston University is allowed to charge new, full-time students up to £3,000 a year for tuition fees from September 2006. Many students will apply for a student loan to cover their tuition fees and day to day living costs. Student loans are the best option for borrowing money for college as interest rates are traditionally low and repayments don't start until graduated students are in work and are earning over £15,000.
