Staffordshire UniversityStaffordshire University is a relatively modern university, established as it was in 1992, and has a healthy overseas international student population in countries the world over. There are more than 14,000 full- and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate students studying within the three UK campuses. Staffordshire University has programmes for its 5,000-plus overseas students including in: China, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, and Sri Lanka. There area four academic faculties at Staffordshire University that are divided into numerous departments and courses. The four faculties cover:

Staffordshire University Campus LifeThe three campuses at Staffordshire University are situated in the towns of Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Lichfield. The Stoke Campus is located in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent and has excellent transport links, while the Stafford Campus is just outside Stafford (south of Stoke) and comes with a minibus service to and from the Stoke Campus. The Lichfield Campus is located in the centre of Lichfield and is situated in a new purpose-built buildingAccommodation at Staffordshire University is in halls of residence and the private rented sector, while sports and recreation facilities are second to none at the Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent campuses. Stoke-on-Trent has the Sir Stanley Matthews Sports Centre, and Stafford, the Beaconside Sports Centre. Other university facilities include excellent student welfare and library services, while the Staffordshire University Students' Union offers an interesting array of societies and clubs, as well as bars and restaurants.
Stoke-on-Trent townStoke-on-Trent is located in the heart of England and is really an amalgamation of several towns. Stoke is especially well known for its production of English China and the Potteries Shopping Centre is loaded with quality pottery products.Students will be more interested in Stoke’s entertainment options, however, and should head for the 'Cultural Quarter', where an array of cafes, restaurants and 'West End' musicals can be found. For leisure, Festival Park offers a dry slope ski centre, a multi-screen cinema and a bustling marina with water theme park.
Stafford townLying to the south of Stafford boasts wonderful architecture and is surrounded by some gorgeous scenery. The Ancient High House in Stafford is one of the star attractions; well known as England's largest timber-framed town house. In addition to the numerous options for dining in Stafford, the town also offers many charming traditional pubs and lots of lively modern bars and clubs.
Lichfield townLichfield is southeast of Stafford and is also another great place to be stationed as a university student, with its historical wealth and lively summer festivals. Lichfield is also very near the city of Birmingham and some amazing countryside.
Student LoansStaffordshire University is allowed to charge new, full-time students up to £3,000 a year for tuition fees from September 2006. Many students will apply for a student loan to cover their tuition fees and day to day living costs. Student loans are the best option for borrowing money for college as interest rates are traditionally low and repayments don't start until graduated students are in work and are earning over £15,000.
