University of East LondonThe University of East London (UEL) is a modern university located to the north of Mayesbrook Park in East London and is known for its quality teaching and learning. The University of East London has been rated in the top 10 modern universities for research in the UK and is home to over 19,000 students, many of whom are from overseas. The University of East London offers many undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in eight schools of faculty, including:

University of East London Campus LifeStudents are spread over two campuses at the university; the main Docklands Campus and the Stratford Campus. The Docklands Campus has a cracking location on the Royal Albert Dock and features a purpose-built structure for the School of Architecture and the Visual Arts, while a new learning resources centre is also on the cards.The Stratford Campus of East London University also has a good location in the up-and-coming area of Stratford and offers excellent student facilities. Both campuses have a great social life, with the popular University of East London Students' Union and numerous activities, bars and eateries.
East LondonThe shopping and entertainment options in East London are excellent, with a myriad of vibrant street markets and the hippest fashions, as well as the theatre, arts, and numerous quality cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs. There is also an abundance of relaxing green areas near the university campuses and public transport options are very good.
Student LoansThe University of East London is allowed to charge new, full-time students up to £3,000 a year for tuition fees from September 2006. Many students will apply for a student loan to cover their tuition fees and day to day living costs. Student loans are the best option for borrowing money for college as interest rates are traditionally low and repayments don't start until graduated students are in work and are earning over £15,000.
